The thing that sticks in my mind about The Harrad Experiment was that it paired "unlikely" people together, the geek with the hot blonde, as I recall. Part of the idea was that if people who convention or social pressure might keep apart were roommates, they might indeed become lovers.

Remember The Harrad Experiment was about an experiment. :-)
