[UUPoly-L] The UU Inaugural Ball

Hi everyone:  Tim and I attended the UU inaugural ball on Sunday evening at All Souls UU in Washington, just up the street from the White House.  The folks at All Souls knocked themselves out with this event.  It was fabulous, with more than 500 attending.  We also attended the cocktail party there honoring UUA president Bill Sinkford, where the champagne flowed and everyone was in a fabulous mood.  

One of the most impressive sights was the diversity on the dance floor.  There were racially mixed couples dancing next to female couples and male couples.  During the slow dances this was even sweeter to see.
