However, the permission is done in a very sneaky way, so that most people
have no idea what they have just agreed to.

{Even if they hadn't bothered with the sneaky permission, there are *plenty*
of sites that do things that are wildly illegal--but there are as yet no
practical enforcement methods on the internet.)
