I remember a news story from somewhere in Africa where polygamy is legal. A 
 man was tried and convicted of bestiality with a goat. His sentence was to 
marry  the goat. The purpose of the sentence, so I'm told, was that no 
woman would ever  consent to be second wife to a first-wife who was a goat. So 
the man was  effectively sentenced to never being able to marry. 
 
And no, I can't confirm it.
